Construction Loss – Final Hurdle

RHP handled the construction claims for a large combined heat and power station.

During the latter stages of development, relationships between the contractor and employer became strained and the side effect of this was the emergence of many claims, in total amounting to a number of millions of pounds. Through careful investigation by RHP engineers and BI experts, we were able to establish which heads of claim were valid in so far as they were acceptable under the terms of the policy and which were not. The matter was resolved after a series of investigations and meetings with both the Insured, the Brokers and separately the Insurers.
