Storm Damage with a Difference

It has been well documented that the UK has suffered significant storms and flooding in recent years.

RHP were instructed by Insurers with regard to storm damage occasioned at a nuclear reprocessing facility. Whilst there was no damage to plant or risk of a nuclear incident, over two hundred separate incidences of damage were notified and at the outset the claim was reported at many millions of pounds.

We developed a permanent site office and set up procedures for investigating the extent of damage and controlling associated repair costs.

Through careful claims management and our knowledge of the industry, we were able to bring about a satisfactory result for interested insurers whilst also providing assistance to the Insured in keeping their claims costs to a minimum.
